Back to the ER….another day of drunks and “retard strong” psych patients. It’s amazing the shit that people do to themselves and others in this world, no? All you medical & law enforcement types know…you’ve seen it. Sometimes I wonder if we should really intervene less and let ol’ Darwin really have his day. Let the herd thin itself a bit.

I’m pretty sure that’s trying to happen but we keep getting in the way. Look at Detroit. It started in the 60’s during the riots. The Darwinian zeroes set fire to THEIR OWN shit just so the fire department would come. Then they’d shoot at the firefighters (No shit…really, check your history, talk to the people who were there). As a result, their shit burned down a-la 12th street. Despite the growing number of assholes, the city is starting to make a comeback now (kind of). If you’ve never been there you need to understand, there’s the suburbs, then shit, crime and poverty, and then a lot of nicely renovated stuff downtown. It’s fine as long as your car doesn’t break down between here and there. Then you become fodder for the animals of the city. Don’t misunderstand me. I certainly am not saying that the good people of the city who are trying to stay and make a go of it, or have to stay and make a go of it, are the problem. It’s the dirtbags, junkies and assholes. My dad has a pretty good view of the world. He told me it’s got nothing to do with the fact that someone may be white, black, Mexican…it’s got everything to do with the fact that there are assholes and non-assholes…color doesn’t matter. The assholes are always the problem. There are just more in some places than others.

Some nights, they all seem to go to the hospital.
